How can I send messages using City2txt?
Send SMS using our secure online portal. All Mobile Numbers must be in international format e.g.447810.......
Can I use any text as a message label?
Yes, the online service will allow you to use any text (up to 11 characters) as the message label.
What is Flash SMS?
A 'Flash' SMS message is received directly in the handsets display - bypassing the users inbox - use for emergency SMS alert - if the user exits from the message they will not be able to retrieve it again unless they have specifically selected to save it.
How do I receive replies?
To receive replies to the messages you've sent you have to purchase a reply number from City2Txt - there is an annual fee of £150 + VAT for this service. Replies will then be available in your account's online inbox or an email address if specified
How do I get a short code number?
There is an initial setup cost involved in creating your account - initial account creation is complete with 1,000 free messages. There is no time limit on the use of messages either. There is an annual charge for the reply number if required and a monthly charge if any short codes are used. Please contact us for the latest pricing regarding the purchase of top-up messages.
