The seeds of our success

Intercity Telecom began in 1985 as an independent service provider at a time when cellular technology was just taking off in the UK. And in 1994 we secured a strong European presence with Intercity BV, based in Amsterdam.

Throughout Intercity's history, mobile phones have been an important part of our business and today we are the UK's largest independent cellular service provider.

However the company has evolved a long way from merely providing mobile phone services. It has always been our philosophy to keep pace with new developments across the whole business communications world, and to be among the first to offer our clients genuinely beneficial technologies.

Our aim now is to offer a complete communications solution including business mobile phones, mobile broadband, wholesale line rental, business grade broadband, Leased Lines, PBX telephone systems, digital pens, vehicle tracking, hosted email, VoIP and wide area networks. Through this holistic, integrated approach we can bring greater efficiencies and economies across a wide range of businesses.
